Odoo Experience 2025 brought the community to Brussels for the unveiling of Odoo 19 and artificial intelligence took center stage.

Odoo Experience 2025: The Biggest Event of the Year

From September 18 to 20, 2025, the Odoo community gathered at Brussels Expo in Belgium for Odoo Experience 2025 (OXP25), the company's flagship annual event. It is where Odoo shares its product roadmap, showcases customer success stories, and most importantly launches its next major release.

The scale of the gathering underlined how far the platform has come. Odoo reports that OXP25 welcomed more than 40,000 attendees from over 150 countries, bringing together partners, developers, customers, and prospects from around the world under one roof.

Odoo 19: Released on Day One

The headline moment came on September 18, 2025, when Odoo officially released Odoo 19. Coming just under a year after Odoo 18 launched on October 3, 2024, the new version keeps the platform's rapid annual cadence and this release had a very clear theme.

That theme was AI. Rather than treating artificial intelligence as a bolt-on gimmick, Odoo 19 weaves it throughout the database, aiming to make everyday work faster and less repetitive.

Key AI Themes in Odoo 19

  • AI Agents able to learn from your own documents through retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and perform actions inside the system, not just answer questions.
  • "Ask AI" an assistant available across the database, so help and answers are never far from wherever you are working.
  • Natural Language Search find records and information by describing what you want in plain language.
  • AI content generation and AI lead scoring practical helpers for sales and marketing teams.

Beyond AI, Odoo 19 also delivered welcome operational upgrades: a Gantt view for manufacturing orders, improved bank reconciliation with better duplicate-bill detection, Google Merchant Center sync, a new VOIP interface, and Point of Sale presets.

Why This Matters for Gulf and Syria Businesses

For companies across the Gulf and Syria, an AI-enabled ERP is not just a novelty it is a way to do more with lean teams. Natural Language Search lowers the barrier for non-technical staff, while AI Agents that learn from your own documents can help standardize processes across branches and languages. Combined with Odoo's strong regional localizations, these features make the platform even more compelling for manufacturing, trading, and services businesses in the region.
